Well, I decided to pull rims off today and give them a good detailing. I pulled off the front 2 and got them cleaned, polished and sealed. Cleaned my wheel wells as well. Then it started raining, of course. The only time I am able to detail out my truck, it rains. Either that day or the next.......
Being a mobile detailer, I need to keep my truck in top shape, but lately, it has been like the plumber with the leaky faucet....

-Cleaned with Meguiars Wheel Brightener, cut 1:3 on the insides of rims, and cut 1:4 on front of rims.
-Clayed with Poorboys Clay
-Polished with Poorboys SSR 1 via hand with Microfiber towel.
-Sealed with Poorboys Wheel Sealant (x2)
 
thats nothing. i should post pictures of my volkswagen rims. Supposed to be same color as your rims, but thanks ot the engineers who designed the brake pads. They stay black all the time.
 
I agree...they are not bad, but they have been worse before I changed the pads. The ones that were on before, really put out some dust....
 
It looks like a new wheel! That is such a pain to remove the wheels and go through all of that for the look to last such a short time......but I do it too. Not often enough though.
 
C'mon Chris, fess up!! TireRack just called & they want their "models" back!! ;)

I take my wheels off 4 times a year.. twice to change wheel/rim combo twice when I rotate them..
 
Even though they weren't that bad a little cleaning still makes a big difference. Dirty wheels is one of my pet peeves. Nice work.
