Detailed 2005 Blue Vet

This last Saturday I detailed the outside of this very fine blue Corvette (a fellow Autopian). I used Megs #80, followed by Megs #3, and topped it with PS Paste wax. There were a few minor scratches which were deeper than I had hoped. I blended the scratches, but a little wet sanding will be needed. It has been too long since I have wet sanded and I did not want to take the chance on this nice car. Other than that the shine really came out.

I will have to use more of the Megs# 3 glaze and it was very easy to use.
 
Looks very nice!



Here is my C6 right after delivery. I only allowed the dealer to unload the car from the truck until I arrived. It has bare paint in this photo. It's just amazing how much orange peel is on most of the new Vettes.

Rick - you really did a great job on my car - the pics don't do it justice. The finish looks like glass. It really made me appreciate how much better results a pro can get than me!! Although, I did just have to add another coat of PS after you left :)



I pride myself in taking good care of my car, but folks stopped by my office today asking what I had done to it as it looked much better than usual!



You're a great person and a real pro. Thanks for the excellent work!!

Yes, it is a Z51. The ride is very smooth, especially compared to the Cobra! The C6 is a very sweet car.

It is an honor to do such a car :2thumbs: It nice to detail a vechicle when the owners takes such great care. I bet the car looked real wet after you put another coat of PS. Thanks again!
