Mobile Detailing Services
Ok. This family has really been keeping me busy! This is the brother of the H2's owner (360 Detail) and he owns the Saleen (Teaser Pics). I also have his bass boat and wife's Expedition to do this week. Needless to say, they received a hefty discount. This one wasn't that dirty........just really big! He has had a problem with a local detailer though. Seems that the customer will drop it off for a detail and all looks fine..........until it rains or gets washed. Then all the swirls and scratches reappear. I told him that wasn't going to happen now. So off to work I went.

Here's the process.....

Engine Bay:

(ZEP CD 1:1 & Armor All Tire Foam)

Routine process here. Spray with ZEP, rinse, then foam. Bake for 15 minutes and BAM! Dinner is served!

Wheels, Tires, and Wells:

(Street Appeal Tire & Wheel Cleaner & Tire Dressing)

Yep. You've never heard of them. That's because they are only a 1.00 per bottle at my local Dollar Tree. This product was referred to me with high marks. Heck, for 4.00 I got 4, 32oz. bottles of products. Not bad. Will it work though? Yep. I emptied each product into two different pump sprayers. One for the cleaner and one for the tire shine. I sprayed the cleaner on and orange/brown ooze came rolling off the tires and wells. Brake dust was cut too and appeared very safe. After drying, I sprayed the tires and wells with the tire shine. I then wiped the product in with a MF mitt. Very nice look. Shiny but near matte. My favorite. Very impressed with the non-greasy feel too. Durability will have to be seen but then again but for now this stuff is a winner.

Wash Cycle:

(NXT Tech Wash & EDGE Wash ShMitt)

Just a nice, routine wash here. I did clay the hood and fenders while washing with some left over clay. Not bad at all. The wheels got another bath in the end of the wash.

Paint Correction & Protection:

(XMT's 360 AIO with Cyclo and EDGE2K Yellow Pads)

This was going to be an experimental vehicle. I have about 8oz. of 360 left in a 16oz. bottle. I added a teaspoon of XMT#2 to it. I simply wanted to see if it could be stretched while looking for more cut. I told the customer that I would monitor the durability and would re-LSP it if needed. This combo rocked! Cleaned and cut. The painted glossed and shined really nice. It was very slick and the flakes popped. I misted some water on the hood and it beaded.......a lot. Who knows, could be a new combo to try. I'm going to try it on some other this week. Nothing else was added to the finish.

Interior:

(ZEP CD 10:1 & DP's Interior Protectant)

The inside wasn't that bad. It just needed a good vacuuming and wipe down. The windows were cleaned with DP's Krystal Vision.

Befores........

(Forgive my pics. I found out that somehow the ISO was bumped up to 400. Way to much light.)

Another nice detail! Lovin' the flake on that great graphite color!

Greg

This thing has more flake than any vehicle I've detailed. Helps that it's the size of a bus!

Awesome work Justin. Good to see that you found that stuff at the Dollar Store. Heck for a $1 you can't beat it.
