So I was sitting around yesterday the 5th when I get a call from a old client with a porsche GT2. He told me that he was about 6 hours from Dallas racing..umm rallying in the Gumball 3000. They just got out of jail for getting clocked in the Bugatti Veyron at 178mph the night before; spending about 8 hours in jail till a hefty donation to a city charity released themselves and the veyron to continue on the race.
He asked if we could meet him up at the W a luxury hotel where the Gumball would come in for a night of partying like only the rich know how to do. I said sure I would bring both of my rigs and my crew and get to town. He also told me that he cleared it with Maximilian Cooper to let me setup in the Gumball village where everyone parks and chills to try to get some more detail business. I was pumped and jumped at the chance. So here are the cars that Detail Werkz had the pleasure to detail. It was a LONG night..but I was FIRE UP all night long!

Just about all of them opted to do my wash/GI gloss finish polish and deep interior clean. The vehicles with the full wraps like Car 69 and 06 we just did a deep hand wash, and used the GI Gloss Enhancer to give the wraps some shine. Interiors were just cleaned using the GI Satin Leather Cleaner. The most important part per the owners was to be sure to get the windows crystal clear, so we applied the CG wet mirror to the insides and outsides followed up with distilled water and microfiber towels to make sure they had crystal views of the remaining 1500 miles to Miami. (Thanks to Sexy Bob aka Auto Conceier for that tip!)
Again it was an honor to be able to be here and get to work on some incredible vehicle. Something I will never forget as long as I live. Oh yea.. the after parties are just as crazy as you have heard..we got to go and I must say..the rich know how to party and they really can FIRE IT UP!
Enjoy the shots of the details and night action that we endured.
We ended up doing 22 cars in 12 hours!!
I apologize for some of the shots to be a bit blurry..we started at about 530pm on the 5th and finished up the last vehicle the SSC Aero about 7am on the 6th!!
