Helllo all,

Does anyone know anywhere I could get some videos of someone doing the exterior


ex. using pc, rim polishing, tire dressing ect.

even a little interior would help

I found that this board has been helpful to me....but I also find that sometimes if you see something being done other than reading it, well it can also be just as helpful
 
cico-rojo go to bettercarcare.com and look under professional care. you will need real video and you can watch the meguiar's video for exteriors.
 
Right now there isn't much in the way of affordable videos. There are a few from Meguiar's that are supposed to be pretty good. Then there are the mondo expensive ones from 'Right Look' that are more like seminars than simple videos. I'm in the process right now of writing an eBook that will include video instruction on those exact questions. I'm not trying to copy anybody or anything, I just thought it would be great to have my own process written down for people who ask me what my opinion is on how things are done. DavidB was a great mentor while I was working with him on Autopia and I'm just trying to use what I learned to help other people like he did. Anyway, the book is still several weeks from being completed, but it is coming along nicely and nearly all the text is written for it. Its just a matter of planting the video and photos and dressing it up a bit. I'm aiming for a definite final cut release by July 1.

jngrbrdman....that sounds just like " what the doctor odered" (look me up when your done)

Just like alot of people I come in contact with, they mention how great their mentor was, well in my case there is no mentor, just trying it by trial and error and often comming with good results.
 
Fear not. I didn't really have a mentor either. By the time I found Autopia I had been doing this stuff for a few years and had made my fair share of mistakes. Boards like this can be your mentor. I'll keep everybody posted and I'm sure that DC will be the first to know when I have something done that I can sent out for evaluation and comments before the final release. :bigups Stay tuned....
