Detail sprays on top of Ultima PGP. Anyone tried Z-8 or AW yet?

Yes, after my polishing prep, I wiped down the car with 50/50 IPA/DW prior to the UPGP. I let each layer dry for at least 12 hours. I then used the detail spray to wipe down the entire car which removed to a very small amount of streaking prior to putting the next layer of UPGP down. Used nothing but Ultima on the car from that IPA wipe down until I finished wiping down the 4th layer of UPGP with he UDSP.

I did a black 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade this weekend and used the UPGP again. The car was polished with 106FF with green pad and then PO85RD with blue Sonus SFX-3 pad. The car then had a IPA wipe down. The car is pratically still new so the paint came out very glossy and highly reflective just like you would expect freshly polished black to look. The UPGP muted the reflections again. Granted, UPGP is very wet looking. So I topped this car with AW. The AW helped with sharpening the reflections and made the wet look even wetter. And I don't even think that sharp reflections is what AW's really known for.

I guess its a tradeoff between wet-looking or high reflectivity. I will try topping the UPGP with Z-8 next.

I have AJT and UPGP, and have put UPGP over AJT, but not the other way around. UPGP added some wetness to the AJT on the dark grey car but not a huge difference.

I now have a new car, fully machined to a very high standard and have 4 layers of AJT on it, over Prime. The finish is incredible and wet but I dont want to top it with UPGP, as i just dont like the beading and sheeting of UPGP quite as much as AJT.

Would really like to try Z8 over both and see what happens...
