Curious whether the majority of the Detail Sprays contain waxes, sealants, fillers etc...

I tried a brand last year on my Corvette (Machine Silver Metallic) and honestly felt that the Detail Spray actually "decreased" the metallic look / finish by applying an additional layer on top of the existing carnuba wax.

Immediately, I lightly polished the car, and it was obvious the metallic flakes were evident.

Can't really say anything if you want to know if the "majority" of them do.

I know a lot have gloss enhancers, slickeners, lubricants for dirt removal.

What brand did you use?

Try Zaino Z6 or Finish Kare 425. Then hit it with some Zaino Z8 and let us know what you think. I have two machine silver corvettes and in general, carnaubas will mute metallic flake, while sealants will bring them out.

The flake in MSM is kind of subtle anyways IMO.

what brand did you use? Duragloss Aquawax is a spray sealant , Souveran is a spray wax, and if i remember Surf City Speed Demon is synthetic polymers, Eagle One spray wax has fillers.

i dont know how much expeirence you have so you may have used to much or not buff it all off. if that is the case then it would mute the flakes as well as the shine.

You can give Meguiar's Final Inspection a shot. All business and no fluff.

Would it be better to do the Z8 first then finish with the FK425 because of the bright finish of FK425?

I know that Aussie gold and Driven Quick Spray concentrate have sealant, gloss enhancers and are the slickest QD/Spray Sealants there are

Wax will definately mute the flake, too much aquawax I believe will also do that

Try DG 923 instead, that should be better. I love that product

You certainly could but I think Z8 is brighter, shinier, more glossy, etc. than 425.
