I have two almost full bottles the original Wet Glaze and a bottle of 2.0 if anyone is interested

Whoever bought the WG 2.0 is in for a treat. I just layer down a coat and this stuff amazes me every time.

What's amazing about it? It seems there are two camps, those that are just thrilled with the stuff and those that end up selling theirs of to the first camp. I never understood the stuff. It sucked as a swirl filler and for looks there are much better LSPs.

As I posted on AG, Wet Glaze is simply not a glaze. If you care to check the MSDS, you will find that it is a glaze with a significant amount of polymeric content. It also has a significant amount of a solvent a lot like mineral spirits. As an emulsion, if also contains surfactants. That combination of solvent and surfactant cannot help but 'clean'. In actual fact, that sort of combination is extremely similar to what you would find in dedicated cleansers.



In practice I would classify WG2.0 as a moderate durability polymer sealant with good cleaning properties.
