detail seminars

I live in West Virginia and am not able to make it to the West Coast for any seminars. Are there any talks of having any clinics or seminars in the Northeast. I would love to be able to make one as well as become a 3D Certified Detailer.

Just seems like there is little love for us small guys out here which is a shame since I am switching my entire product line to your products this winter...

Hi Travis - Unfortunately, at this point I don't think there are any plans to do any training outside of their dedicated Detail Academy in Santa Clarita, CA.  They just built a brand new 10,000 square foot facility near their home office. Could be a great excuse for a Cali vacation though..... :)

Sounds like there is a demand for internet based training.

It could be done over internet but conducted at previously certified shops.

Probably wouldn't work, but its a pipe dream

Working on a Detailing Made Simple training manual right now actually. It will be used as a training tool that each distributor can use for training classes. That may be the 1st step for 3D to expand their training effort outside of their home office.

Thanks clarifying this David. Hopefully in the future, something can be done to certify those of us who just feasibly can not make it clear across the country, even if it is just a book or internet based thing.

Hands on get-togethers are a great way to gain knowledge and share techniques. I have been lucky enough to go to a dozen in the last ten years and can't put a price on what I have learned. This is a great way to also try various products and tools without bias. A win/win deal for all involved.

I'm hoping/planning on opening up a HD Care Care - Detroit shop in the coming months. You can bet your last dollar that I'll be putting on tons of open houses, work shops and training for people once I'm all set up.
