Detail right away?

So I have not done any cleaning/detailing on my car since October when I waxed it. Weather is looking nice now and so should my car. My question is, should I wash my car a few times to ensure car is fully clean before I detail, or can I go through my process right away?

Process:

Wash/dry

Clay

Wash/dry

Polish (swirl remove)

Polish (Polish light remove)

Wax

you can do your process right away .. do a pre-soak for your first wash (foam gun or foam lance) then wash and rinse generously

Wash it 2x to make sure you did not miss any dirt. It also helps when doing the undercarriage, then start your process

I say do a pre soak and wash 2x..

Sry for thread jacking :( but

Even with jackstands how exactly do you clean your under carriage? Lay under it while scrubbing and taking all that grease and grime to the face?

Especially being that my vehicle is lowered and I would really like to clean under there..

Thanks

undercarriage = wheelwells. No jackstands required.

Ahhh, I'm thinking the whole underlying of the vehicle.. Was about to say what do you guy's use a wet suit, goggle snorkel combo and creeper lol

I had my car up on jackstands for an oil change and tire rotation so I washed the undercarriage. First I rinsed it off with water as best I could. Then I sprayed it with Optimum No Rinse in a garden pressure sprayer, scrubbed whatever I could reach and rinsed it off again. That should be good enough to clean off any corrosive salt that piled up during winter.
