Ok. Not really. But I was really bored last night.... And there's 6 inches of snow on the ground...

So I dug my girls ride out of the garage, where it has been sitting for 3-4 years now, and had my way with it.

Steps:

Eagle One wash (in the bathtub)

3m SMR for dark cars on everything

Gliptone cleaner wax on everything

Gliptone platinum wax on body and rims

Meguiars Natural on seat, grips, and brakes

Endurance on Tires.

Mothers Metal Polish on all metal.

So, whadda ya think? Should I enter it in the monthly contest??? Think I have a chance??

Grrr.. Photobucket freaked out and shrunk some of the pics too small. I'll replace them with the origonals when i get home from work tonight...

Hey, I thought I was the only one to do bicycles. I use Liquid Glass on the piant and Megs All-Metal Polish on the chrome. I like Megs #42 for the rubber as well. Aan yes , I even bring out the Q-tips, which is why my wife insists I do this behind closed doors in the garage.

I keep up on my Schwinn Moab 1 all of the time with my products, before the fall it got a treatment of VM + Signature. I used to ride in a competitive league and was detailing my bike long before I was able to drive. Before the spring hits I plan on selling it since it looks brand new yet and get a soft tail Schwinn Rocket LTD or either a Kona Dawg Dee-Lux or Stab.

i ride competively, and used detail my bike also, but it got to the stage that i was winning races cause of the unfair aero advantage of my slick paint... ;)

nah the real reason is that i was falling off too often and the paint got all screwed up.

I'd never thought that product removal works better with a (properly applied) cat than with a MF!!!

:D

Hard to tell from the picture if the cat's removing product or applying it. :D
