Dude! Your work is incredible man:bow. IMO, you are quickly becoming one of the most skilled detailer in this site, even though you recently started doing this (am I correct?). BTW, I love the DWG + Souveran combo; I recently started using this combo myself and it is amazing.

thank you so much man...I idolized (and still do) your work along with rickrack's and a few others on here and it totally inspired me to do well, and I've learned so much and owe it all to this site. I just started in January roughly (semi-pro) detailing, and I've learned so much since then. Means a lot to hear something like that from a skilled detailer like yourself.

Thanks! I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy! One huge difference though between you and I is, I don't dare touch a rotary yet (though I am heading that way), while you seem to have gotten the hang of it quickly. From the pics, it seems you using the Flex rotary, if so, which model? How do you like it? Do you have any other rotaries, and if so which ones, and which one is your favorite?

I'm just using the cheap-*** harbor freight rotary lol...works WONDERS man...well-worth the 30 bucks I paid for it hahahaha.

Awesome job, once again.

However, what are you using on those (p)leather seats? It looks really streaky/splotchy/oily in the pics?

lol...those were wiped down once more before finishing...that was sweat you saw from my 100 degree garage i did it in.

Stunning man, stunning. I've been itching to get a Makita lately, but at 6 times the cost of your rotary, do you think I should just opt for the same one as you for now? Does it bog down or do anything goofy?

mine doesn't do anything un-ordinary man...been working great and I've done about 6 cars with it now. I say it's worth a shot! :)

Thanks man. How's that M105 been working out for you? I keep hearing good things. Sounds like 105 w/ a Yellow pad at 1500 could polish my cement driveway into glass. Lol.

hahaha dude...it removes sanding marks like a champ! it laughs at swirls too...follow it up with some 82 and then some menzerna 106 and you will be in love, trust me!

Sounds sweet. I just tried OHC for the first time yesterday.. didn't even know I had a bottle of it sittin in my garage. Not bad stuff. I'm wanting to try out the Menzerna line soon and some 3M Ultrafina. But enough, don't wanna hijack... awesome job on this GT.

Oh, one last question.. you don't have a paint gauge do you? I would feel so much more comfortable using a rotary if I had one, but it seems like lots of people don't and still use rotary. I'm just afraid of getting my hands on some random car that has no specific reason for being thin, but has very little clear nonetheless. I can't really imagine what I would do if I went through the clear on a customer car.

I'm in the process of saving for one right now.

Anyone happen to know where I can buy those paper thank you floor mats to put in people's cars like dealerships use? I need some of those so I don't dirty a client's car when bringing it back to them.

First: great job. Second: It amazed me that 4 hrs of drying time for the touched-up spots was enough. Is that typical or is the Ford touch-up paint a quick-dry formula? I would have thought a much longer wait time [like days] would have been required. Maybe the heat in your garage helped!!
