Nice car!
My parents are looking for a new(er) vehicle and I'm trying to get them to buy a 2003 540i M-tech 6-speed sedan, but they are worried about the fuel economy

So far it is between that and 2 diesels (2005-07 Mercedes E320cdi and 2009 Jetta TDI -- 30+ MPG combined compared to the 540's 18 MPG
). I think the fuel costs are worth it though for the much better handling and performing BMW
