Anytime today Detail City could go offline for a few hours.

When it comes back online it will be very different around here. Some of the changes may take a while to get used to.

When it first comes back on we will not be finished so please do not inundate us with questions like "Is this the new Detail City?" when we are not finished.

I will make an official announcement when the Detail CIty upgrade is complete.

Until then it is a work in progress and under construction.

Everyone repeat after me, work in progress and under construction.

The Fuzz is wearing a hard hat in the logo is another sign that DC is under construction.

Thanks in advance for your patience while DC is offline!

Very different, but it doesn't seem like it is going to be at all difficult to get used to.

You should be getting the feeling that you've driven this model of car before, only this one has all the options and is fully loaded.

We are just getting started with the upgrade. This was the first and most important step. We managed to upgrade to VB3 without losing any members and had very minimal downtime.

The Photo Gallery will be coming back, A Product Review program is being installed, DCMail is on the way. Sponsor banners will be coming back and I almost forgot.... an arcade with about 100 games!

I'm sure I am forgetting something... if there are features available to us I will add them if they add fun to the forum.

I believe it's just an email address at the detail city domain name. Just think.....Beemerboy@detailcity.com. It's almost a smooth as having a mullet (or Mu-lay for the French people)!!!
 
I really like the changes so far. When I came here in august I hardly visited this forum because I was not crazy about the layout. Now I came back just in time to see a new look!

Dwayne, looking great. I know how conversions can be tough. Just recently I re-wrote everything on my website that I host from ASP to C#. Keep up the great work on this site.
 
:yeah Yes it will never! Unless of course we see what the final product is. Man I thought Dwayne was done for tonight? :lol Remember, today is just the VB3 running. Design and more to come!
