yeah, well as stated prior I'm pretty much a beginner to this whole thing. This is about my 15th car, maybe 20th. 2nd time wet sanding, and 3rd with a rotary. Anyhow, I'd like to order some UF...where can I get it, and what pad do you recommend putting it on with? I have like 4-5 LC pads and was thinking of using the blue or white one for applying it.

Very good then. The Blue LC pad works great with UF. I get mine from the local body shop supply place for $35 a quart. I think some guys have mail ordered it for $41 shipped. Just not sure where from.

Incredible job. Wow.

What the heck was going on with that first picture? Looked like a paint reaction or a nasty bird crap.

yeah, it's where the clearcoat cracked/failed...I got it taken care of though! :woot2:

very fine work....I need to try my hand at wetsanding my right front fender... wifey + right fender + bush = wet sanding...

A+ job on the first picture as well! great job on getting the cracking out, the whole thing looks brand new. What did you use on the tires for a dressing?

thanks for the kind words man! I used DP Tire gel, which works very well and doesn't come off on the paint while driving if wiped on.

DP Gloss Tire Gel penetrates deep below the surface to hydrate and refresh dull, dry rubber. is the link to where you can get it in various amounts

i didnt even realize you could eliminate those marks like that.

I might try a little spot on my car that has those cracks in the clear

yeah man, just get yourself some 2000 grit and follow it up with some 3000 grit, then hit it with the compound and you'll like the results. I had to hit it 3 times with the 2000 and twice with the 3000 to get it out because it was very deep.

Truck looks awesome.

Quite notable that you were able to finish clean with 105 on the rotary.
yes, I will admit this one came out better than the first few cars I did. It's all about getting the right angles/speed down with the rotary.

Thanks man!
