Thanks man...I forgot to mention that there were hardly any swirls on this truck from my last time detailing it, but this was a revisit and it really needed it. I'd like to think I've gotten the hang of touch up paint/wet sanding pretty well. The owner (my dad was very pleased/impressed) and said I've come a long way in the past 6 months with my detailing skills, and I owe most of it to this site! There were some nasty bird etchings/hard water spots, along with scratches...pictures really don't do it a whole lot of justice...you'd have to see it in person, it looks nothing like a 7 year old truck :)

I can definitely say you have gotten the hang of it.

Looks BRAND NEW!!!! Amazing!! Quick question.... I've always wet sanded in a back and forth straight line motion.. i notice,or at least i think i saw that you use yours in a circular motion.. Do you find that to be more efficent? I never tried.

lol thanks bro.

as for the circular motion, i did that only on the hood in areas that had water spots and it seemed to work perfectly...i used a 2000 grit with a LOT of soapy water and it was simple to get out and left no marring when compounded :)

The finish appears to be very nice, but I think the results would of been much better if you follow M105 with UF like you said. The interior does look excellent.

I know you must of worked hard to get the finish where you did, but I am sure you would like to bring the finish to the next level. Do a search for ultrafina and take the time to do some reading about how to use it.

yeah, well as stated prior I'm pretty much a beginner to this whole thing. This is about my 15th car, maybe 20th. 2nd time wet sanding, and 3rd with a rotary. Anyhow, I'd like to order some UF...where can I get it, and what pad do you recommend putting it on with? I have like 4-5 LC pads and was thinking of using the blue or white one for applying it.
