Scholl S17, Scholl compounding pad, Flex rotary
Scholl S30+, Scholl polishing pad, Flex rotary
Scholl S30+, Scholl finishing pad, Flex rotary
IPA wipedown

Sealing

Two coats of Fireglaze

Windows:

Treated with Res-bona nano glas protection

Interior

Vacumed
All interior sprayed with Allbrites - Rug and upholstery
Wipedown with MF-towels/gloves
Leather dressed in Concept Chemicals - leather feed(?)
Panesl and floor mats dressed with Scholl S9000 - kunstofpflege

Engine:

Alkalie degreaser
Powerwasher
dressed with concepts chemicals - 5SR

Wheels:

Alkalie degreaser
Foamed with cherry foam
Powerwash
Tyres dressed with Concept Chemicals - Contour

Exterior plastics:
Dressed with Concept Chemicals - Vista

Great work! It would be one thing if the after shots were under normal light but to see those swirls disappear under a halogen light setup is really impressive.

Scholl was made for the OEM market but is soon avaible for us end consumers. Scholls is used in the by small car manufactures like VW, Audi, Volvo, Saab, Porsche, Lotus and some others...

Another example of what can be accomplished by a real professional with a professional tool.

I am always looking for a better rotary one that will provide with a greater range of speeds, especially on the low end and something that wieghs a bit less then what I have now. Do you know how heavy this Flex is? And what is expensive?

I don't think the Flex has a very low speed setting. I also think it is heavier than many units. Maybe 7+ pounds. The price is probably in the $300 to $400 dollar range, but I wasn't able to find an on-line vendor in the U.S.
My friend in the body shop has had one for about 15 to 20 years and has only replaced brushes and lubricated it. It seems to be almost indestructible. He thinks the armature of the motor is almost worn to the place where he will have to replace it the next time it needs motor brushes.
I can ask him who carries them, but I would almost bet that he purchases from a body shop supplier or tool supplier that stops at his place of business. He has his own paint mixing system and doesn't spend much time shopping. Most all of his supplies and parts are delivered to him.

I use the smalles rotaries from Flex, it´s called
Flex L3403VRG, very small and light about 4lbs. Power input 1300watt, out put 880watt.

You can´t use bigger pads then 6,5", I prefere 6 or 5,25" pads for this machine. Lowest RPM is 900 but I have never had any problems with this "high rpm". As a weekend warrior this is the ultimate machine. Light and powerful.

Not a good picture I know but this was the only one I had on my computer. Can take better pictures later.

For body shop use I would choose a bigger and stronger Flex machine like the...can´t remember the name but they works wonders for decades if maintaned properly.
