Dent Puller

I've never heard of any home-remedy type tools for dings working well.

Although my father has gotten away with setting his car out on a hot day and then applying dry-ice to a dented area and having it pop back out some.

I keep seeing commercials for ding-king. It's got that guy from the Oxyclean commercials.. He actually shows it work.. but you know how that goes right...

check 'em out.. atleast dingking offers a money back guarantee if you aren't happy.

Everything on the web reviewing the "dingking" says it doesn't work well at all (cement used to secure puller surface to dent not sufficient to permit enough pull to be exerted). But, a suction cup of sufficient contact strength I thought might work. Anyone tried one of these?

The dingking uses a few suction cups to secure the device to the car. I guess I fail to see how it's really any different.

Just take your car to a PDR shop and be done with it.

I agree, if you have a Dent Busters around you, or some similar ding/dint removal shop... just go there. It would be a heck of a lot easier than trial and error with Infomercial products, and all in all wouldnt be that much more $ either.

Good Luck. :xyxthumbs

I fellow on the BMW boards over at Roadfly.org pulled a softball sized plate of paint off the hood of his Z3 with a "Ding King". He was actually getting OK results when on the 4th try the paint adhered to the cement/suction cup rather than to the body of his car. I think the concensus was the car was repainted without his knowledge, but still USE CAUTION if you use it at all.
