I have potential client who wants his car detailed, but does not want to pay what the job is worth.
The problem:
The potential client's son cleans and waxes the family's (including relatives) cars with Meg's cleaner wax for money. The potential is looking for shine and depth. The potential has seen me work, my results and is impressed with what he sees and felt. When I was talking to the potential he asked me if I use professional products? I told him I use professional products from 3M, Meguiars and other professional companies to gett the best results. I think he wanted me to give him the secret recipe or tell him which one product to use.
The car:
1992 Saab convertible which is starting to fade, mildly scratched and shows consisent wear for a car of this age.
The Idea:
I would like the work, because I think this could lead to more work. Should I offer the potential a demo of my work on half hood or a small section?
or
Do I wait for them to came to me or do I keep telling them when ever their ready I am ready?
Eric
