This past Saturday was a great day, as my father took delivery of his new C63 AMG. As you all may know, it is the new C-Class Mercedes but with the same 6.2L V8 they put in their bigger cars. This car is FAST, I was not able to see how it was under full load since it has to be broken in....but even driving casually you get the idea, it just wants to GO. The exhaust note is amazing, it makes a very potent sound when started up. Enjoy the
pictures
Note: This vehicle was purchased from Orange Park Mercedes located in Jacksonville, Florida. If anyone is interested in a Mercedes Benz I would highly suggest doing business with them as I was highly satisfied with my experience.

It was delivered around 9AM, the dealership offers this at home delivery service for a special fee, but was a great experience.

The 6.2L V8 takes up the WHOLE engine bay, they literally shoe horned the engine into the tiny car

This is the signature of the gentleman who built the motor, this is done with all AMG vehicles since they are put together by hand.

I found this interesting, this notification was placed on the windshield, no "full load" operation before the first 1000 miles.

The car was slightly dirty so I went ahead and gave it a good wash: Meguiars Shampoo Plus and Arnold's sheepskin mitt

The exhaust tips came slightly dirty so I made sure to go over them with some Flitz metal polish, right side is after

Both after

Very cool feature, pop up display that is part of the media console.

I had planned on going to a family friends house who owns a white S63 to take both cars together but it ended up raining
maybe next time, but enjoy!
