Deepest wettest wax after Souveran on Blk? Cheap Alt to PC?

Wanted to start a seperate thread for these 2 questions

1) Whats the Deepest Wettest wax that will offer lots of flake pop too, after Souveran thats $20 or under for a Black Metallic car? Souveran and P21S costs a little too much, but I have been considering Poorboy's Natty's Blue

2) Whats a cheap alternative to a PC for $50 or less? I dont really need a good one, just one to save time and I plan on using it for applying waxes, buffing, and some polishes such as Poorboy's PWC, or possibly the SSR's.

1) Natty's blue is awesome stuff...gives a really deep wet shine

2)Craftsman has a cheap orbital buffer...I forgot the name....but don't skimp out...save up and get the PC, it's worth it..trust me

Natty's blue is by far the wettest wax I've used. My favorite combo on my Black car is 2x FK1 Pink Wax and then topped with 2x Natty's Blue.

LOL! I find it kinda funny that you wanna go cheap on stuff after spending the $ on Souveran, unless I'm reading it wrong and you mean the next best product to Souveran.

I'd also vote for Z2Pro.

And if P21s is too expensive, head down to the Harley dealer and pick up its twin, s100.:bigups

Thanks for the replies guys, and no I haven't bought Souveran although I love the look it gives, I can't spend that much money on a wax

I used Z2Pro and it really gives a wet look, but theres hardly and depth and it doesn't help to cover scratches much, so I'm looking for something that will do all these. I used #26 but its very hard to take off so I would rather not use it again.

As far as s100 and Natty's go, for ppl who have used both on black/dark cars, which do you think is deeper, wetter, and covers scratches up better?

OK, thats kinda what I thought after reading it again. To answer your question, it seems S100 doesn't add the most depth on black, at least for me, but with multiple layers I'm shure it will. You might also wanna check into the Mothers Reflection line, especially the Top Coat, seem promising and many people that use it like it. I will be getting mine soon, so I will know for myself.

And for a cheaper version of the PC I would just recomend doing things by hand if not by PC or rotary. Try VM by hand, I have seen people, especially Scottwax get great results, at least in the pics.

Neither are going to do much in covering up the scratches. You need to either remove them or cover them up with a dedicated swirl remover, with a PC. You are really talking about swirls and not scratches, right? If you're talking about scratches, you'll need to use something like Scratch X. I've used S100 and it looks really wet and pretty deep. It's also relatively cheap. I have Natty's Blue, but I haven't tried it yet.

I agree with A-Spec on the buffer thing. A cheap buffer is just an expensive paperweight for the garage. I bought a Sears one before I stepped up to a PC and it is worthless. Bogs down applying wax...

so I guess the conclusion is basically natty's blue for deepest and wettest, but PWC wont be enough for scratches? What abotu SSR?

and that craftsman random orbitcal polisher doesn't look too bad

Nattys vs. S100-Nattys is deeper, wetter and more durable. S100 is more reflective and goes on and off more easily.

Wax Recomendations - Closest has got to be Nattys or Clearkote CMW, Nattys has the slight edge on wetness. S100 will also look good too.
