Deep Velvet: 05 Porsche 911S

Wow Daniel. You are really doing some great work. It is joy watching you grow and expand your knowledge. Also you got a news paper article too, which is great. Keep up the excellent work.

Nice works, Daniel.

It's so strange, but I just washed a green 914 last night. What year is yours?

Mine is a 74. That is the most desirable year due to the lack of ugly bumpers. stainless steel heat exchangers everything. Great car! Wanna buy it?

Daniel, on the TV in the background it looks like the movie "The Transporter"...that's what I was referring to!

Thanks man! That means a lot! I dont think this car represents my skills because it was an easy one! haha. Hopefully in the next few weeks you will see one that really will impress!

I visited Dan when he was nearing the end of the detail but before the LSP. The pics do not capture the beauty of the car. It really is gorgeous, and Dan did a great job.

BTW, Dan, perhaps I missed it in your write-up, but what LSP did you decide on (as if I need to ask)? ;)

I look forward to seeing the article in the Roanoke Times. Congratulations!

Cheers,

Al

Thanks al!

Well i figured everyone was getting tired of me trying to Dodo hype (or so people would think) so i figured i would make a write up without many (or any?) brands. However, yes, I did use supernatural as it is my favorite wax so far! Maybe I will use another neat one soon though ;).

O and i spoke with the writer from the times. He said he was working on it today and would 'holla' at me later... whatever that means. hahaha... not sure if it will be in there tomorrow but he said this week def.

No thanks, Dan. I am WAY too big for that car.

Hahaha, I have seen some pretty big dudes in them! Im 5 10, 160lb's but my torso is pretty short and I have long legs. The steering wheel isnt the smallest so it can get uncomfortable with my legs haha

Dan, just because you happen to be DodoUSA (and how many 15 year olds can claim that?!), I don't think you should feel at all reluctant about mentioning your choice of Supernatural for your LSP. No other detailer feels such reluctance. Neither should you.

Please mention to your Dad how much I enjoyed our drive a week ago Sunday in my S2000. It was nice watching a man who knows how to drive in action. :up

Haha, next time ile be sure to add my choice of LSP just for you ;) haha.

Today I saw a nice GT3RS. It was at euro specialtys (didnt you go see jon?). Jon is working on it for the owner who put it into a tire wall at VIR... the owner is the previos owner of hammersley (or now crossroads). He picked up the only non pre sold f430 this year. He also owns a 550 spider and numerous other cars... seems like a great collector!

I'm just a little bit bigger than you....6'1" 270lbs. Haha. John (Eliot Ness) was there to witness me getting in and out of the 914. Pure misery!

bahahah! Nice man! I have a 6 4 guy in mine once... that was funny. O and the builder of my other 914 (track car) was a big guy too. Not a mystery why he bought a 944 and sold the 914 haha.
