Deep Scratches

Without trying to polish it all out, would filling the scratch with clearcoat and then Lankgra and polishing it to level with a PC work ?

If it's something *really* nasty that might make it a bit better, but don't expect it to be undetectable or to blend in perfectly. But a scratch that's so bad it's gonna lead to paint chipping off/etc. might benefit from such an approach just because it'll prevent things from getting worse.
