Deep Scratch on Plastic Panel in the Trunk

I helped my friend moving a shelf yesterday. It was pretty heavy so we slided it out of the trunk. However, the back of the shelf had some nails sticking out so there are several pretty deep scratches on the inside plastic edge of the trunk. Does anyone know if there is any products which I can use to fix/disguise the scratches a little bit? like something to fill and paint? Thank you.

Think a fine grade, sandpaper may work followed by a clear tnterior type dressing (test small section first )

Clean with rubbing alcohol. Fill with superglue. Spray activator. Sand with 220 grit. Fill with super glue. Srpay activator. Sand with 220 grit. Sand with 600 grit. Sand with 1000 grit. Spray with SEM Color Coat plastic dye, available from vinylpro.com.
