Deep Finish Products

STUTTGART'S FINEST
OK, so we (CVR members of Porsche Club of America) had a cruise night at FarnbacherLoles in Danbury, CT and a new vendor shows up called "Deep Products" with a line of detail products called "Deep Finish". You can see the website here at:

https://www.deepfinish.com/

Without pointing fingers or making false accusations, my feeling this may be another private label mfg by Chemical Guys. I could be wrong, and it just may be from another mfg for private label use... who knows?

Anyway, I did not get a good chance to evaluate this product line, but I wish them well none the less.

Has anyone else heard or used this line? I did a search and didn't find anything.

There were some really nice rides at this cruise night!!

Regards,

Deanski

I have been playing with the products for a little while and I am very impressed. I know for a fact that this is not manufactured by chemical guys.

I spoke with the owner a few weeks ago.He seems nice and he stands by his product. He thinks that Carnuba is nice but his product holds up better. There are only 5 products and (I believe)1 chrome cleaner and 1 alumunin cleaner 1 detail spray. Like all products I will get around to buy it

And they just keep coming and coming...will the endless parade of detail products never end?!?! I have more stuff now than I will be able to use in my lifetime. Anyway, nice to see you, Deanski, and thanks for sharing this, glad you guys are liking it...I'm staying away!

I have been seeing this stuff a lot at car shows around the Boston area, so I picked up the kit for fun. I love trying new stuff.

I just did a black Harley for a friend with deepswax and that came out super black and wet. I also did a charcoal F350 and that came out superb. The owner liked the way it looked on his bike, so he wanted it on his truck too. It really repells water excellent though. It is a little time consuming putting 3 coats on with the cure time, but it does look excellent with 3 coats on. I will have to take some pics when I go back to do his other bikes this week.

The 1 step chrome polish is my favorite polish which is easy to use and has poly resin protection also. I tried the aluminum polish on a dump truck alcoa wheel and it ate through the caked on dirt and polished the wheel to a bright chrome look with ease and with no black smelly mess. I rate the metal polishes a 10!

The owner of the company makes everything himself and use to make other products for other New England based companies. He used to make a 2 step metal polish called metalmasters which was one of my favorite metal polishes that I bought locally at NAPA. His new stuff is a lot easier to use and cleaner.

I have talked to the owner of the company a few times regaurding the cure time and he is a wicked cool guy who knows his stuff. He told me he has 5 years of research into his small product line up. He said he has other products coming out soon, but would not tell me what they were.

The biggest thing is to see how long the durability is. He said it lasts a long time, but I will have to be the judge of that. So far his products are great. The metal polishes are a must have though!

I too have seen their products at some Boston area car shows. Most recently at a show in Brookline at the MOT. I spoke briefly with the vendor (a re-seller) but was in a bit of a rush that day and wasn't able to buy anything.

Well, one of these days... I could use the chrome polish and see how it compairs to Flitz.

Interesting to see how this sealant is based. Any filling? Can other sealants be used with it or QD's?

The reason I gave the CG's reference was most small private labels go to them to formulate a wax, sealant, polish etc. Nothing wrong with that as who the hell has the capital to manufacture their own product? Now with VOC issues, it makes it that much more difficult.

I have enough products as it is, mostly polishes, and several waxes/sealants and dressings up the wahzoo!

Have a good one there SETEC!!! I've been hammered with too much work. Everyone getting ready for fall/winter on most high-end cars and show cars that go into storage.

Good to hear people like it.

Deanski

I'll be trying some of the Deep swax and Deep detail tomorrow on a MB E320 (black) after i remove all those swirls first.........:usa

I too spoke with the owner of Deep Products at great length last week. He sounded like a new owner of a small business to me & was very knowledgeable & helpful.

I am going to begin applying Deep Swax tomorrow (but 1st I gotta tackle my swirls :wall ). He told me that his wax gives a carnauba-like depth. I am a Klasse AIO topped with P21-S lover so I want to see how this new stuff compares

I just did my girlfriends black Trailblazer using Deepswax and finished it up today. I will posting up some pictures in Click & Brag at some point tomorrow. The product sort of reminds me of Zaino Z5. I am very happy with the results and curious to see how long this stuff will last.

What pad did you use to apply it?

I am going to use a foam app. or use a blue pad via pc next time I use it. I used a MF applicator before and it was a tough to put it on thin, but did come off easy.

Can't wait to see your C&B tomorrow.

What were your thoughts on the product?

SO now that i have seen a few people try it out.... Is the verdict in???

Thumbs up?? Not up to the hype?

Im looking at getting some.

:up , only try the QD spray which is awesome and the Deepswax on my hood! Awesome product. I give it a great buy:up

Based on my short experience with the product It is a keeper.I put one layer of ultima on top.IT contributed a glow or a briteness to the shine but it still sheets water.

So is everyone getting their Deep Finish products directly from the company or are there other places?

I'm particularly curious if there might be someplace local to me where I can pick it up. I should have bought some at that car show . . .
