Decisions, decisions, decisions....

I think coffee filters clean the windows better than newspapers and are easy to use. They are also great for getting out wax in those tight cracks. I can't believe you so called detailers never heard of this. ;)

I've recently seen automotive window paint near the car section in Wal-mart. It comes in lots of colors and claimes to be easily removed. Not sure if it would be durable enough for racing, but maybe.

I think they sell it mainly to the high school crowd who decorate their cars for atheletic events...

Blue skies,

yeah, I've tried that, and actual shoe polish. Both are pains in the rear.

I also tried magnetic numbers, but they seem to curl up on the edges, and don't stay on the car. Maybe I just got the wrong kind of magnets.

Today I detailed the exterior of the DBS, while Bret washed the AMG S65 and the clients Harley. We did the interior on the DBS and then took some pics.

The S65 and F430 got full corrections over the last month.

Never a problem on which one to drive that day for me, it's just having the time to enjoy them that might be the problem. I might have to win the lotto and find out.........Nice looking rides you both done there guys and thank you for sharing them here with us at TID.........

The Scud wheels on the red 430 is HAWT!

DLB

Nope that IS a Scud, the owner just has enough class and style to do without the stripes and go incognito... car looks perfect without them!

Awesome trio Bryan, I want to get my hands on a DBS:cornut:

Fun cars, all. The nicest trio of cars from one owner I've ever done in 25 years of detailing.

I washed the S65 with ONR, applied some Zaino Z8, used Zaino Z16 on the tires. Interior got a vacuum, wipe down of surfaces, Z6 on shiny interior bits, and glass cleaning.

Bryan washed, clayed, polished and Zaino'd the Aston Martin. I helped out on the interior cleaning.

While Bryan did his thing with the Aston, I did an ONR wash of the client's Harley V-ROD, and applied a little Zaino Z2 to the main painted surfaces.

Best thing about the day? We actually had some time to take a lot of pics of the cars. That almost never happens. Too bad we couldn't get much direct sunlight. Just our luck, I suppose.

Nice little collection there, boyz and nice gig. Love the thread title because I would have to think of the mood I'm in for a moment before deciding which to take out.

Actually its a 05 or 06 F430 6 speed. Owner had the Scuddie front end and wheels installed. Also had a Capristo race exhaust installed this past month. When Bret and I did the correction a few weeks ago. The client had me rev the throttle to 6k. Bret could not hear for a few hours after that.

What..... the "J" missed the interior and mirrors:wink:, I too would like a DBS appointment but it looks like only detailers in the "Southeast" part of the USA get to do them(sigh) hell Carbone has already done 9 DBS's with two being Volantes(convertible and VERY rare).
