Decent Vacuum attachments

Go to ShopVac's website. They have the entire assortment, some of the pieces are currently 1/2 price, and shipping is reasonable.

I am aware of Shop Vac, Lowes, HD and Sears. They also sell degreaser soaps and Red rags none of us use on our cars :) I have almost their entire lineups.

All of the upholstery brushes are pretty coarse, the sears and shop vac 2.5" round brushes have very rough plastic right under the bristles.

I was looking for higher end gear with softer brushes and plastics.

I had the same experience when I purchased my RIGID Pro Pack vac. The tools are very "industrial" and certainly not designed with car cleaning in mind, particularly the round bristle brush. As you mention, the bristles are very sparse & course, with very hard plastic just behind the bristles.

I use the round brush quite often to remove dust from the dash and other interior panels of my vehicles. I learned on the very first use that the RIGID tool would not cut it, as it could easily scratch the plastic interior panels.

So I bought this, and it works 100% better than the original shop vac tool. The plastic is much softer (almost like a hard rubber), it has much finer bristles (and about 4x as many), and no plastic behind the bristles.
