Nice work, how is it you're getting pics of the vehicles moving??

Do you take them for a test drive?:secret:grinno:

I was wondering the same thing.....but if he's got a model of the truck it's probably his truck....

No the truck is not mine. And yes I test drive EVERY vehicle. It's apart of what I do and every customer agrees to it along with the photo shoot. It's a perk !!!

You got it pretty good then!! I would never dream of asking my customers if I could drive thier cars. How they run doesn't really concern me as much as how they look when they leave. Please understand I am NOT trying to start a big hassle here...just very curious. What does driving the cars have to do with detailing them? Again...not judging or trying to undermine what you do or how you do it....just curious!!

Thanks!!:bigups

Well at heart I'm a car junky. I love drive all different things. I LOVE cars! That's why I do this. I expalin this to every customer that I do a car for. Not to mention that They don't bring the cars to me. I pick it up, detail it for 1-2 days, take it and position it for the photos, and then drive it back to them. They don't do ANYTHING other than pay me and inspect the car. You wouldn't believe how many ppl love not having to figure out how to get it to me and get back and such. It's much easier for them if I pick it up and drop it off. No hassel for them.

Driving them has nothing to do with detailing it. But I also am a very capable and able mechanic. I do alot of simple maint. for my customer's also, (oil, filters, tire inspect, brake inspect, check fluids, check tire press.) Simple things, they don't just get a detail, they also get a car inspection. I feel it's my job to pay that much attention if I spend that much time with it.

Makes perfect sense to me!! When I first started detailing I would always pick up and drop off the cars. I think I have only done that maybe once this year so far though. Everyone has been bringing them to me! The only car I would have loved to driven was the Audi S5 I did a while back....but...alas.....the guy dropped it off and picked it up....figures...

Good luck with everything!!
