Dear Poorboy Steve,

Just tried SSR2.5 for the first time today, and the only thing I can say is:

HOLY FREAKIN' AWESOME!

SSR2.5 has taken some old, dirty, white 94 Civic that looks like it was washed every day with a broom, and brought it back to life. Before I started the paint was actually pee-yellow with brown spots. Now, it's WHITE again. It's like a magic eraser for swirls. So easy to apply, and super easy off.

Steve, if you were a woman I would marry you and buy you a really nice RV and Bass boat :rofl :bow :rofl

.... and Woob, we wish we had it too:dunno ....I know there's a fresh batch a brewin' and it should be back in within a couple weeks with some other goodies too:D , it would have been sooner but with the Holiday weekend coming up next week, i think deliveries will be delayed:(

yeah im waiting for my batch to come too when he gets his in :) rest of the stuff i ordered should be here in the morning. I will post pics when i finish some of the cars. I will be doing a 03 porsche and a 03 viper tomorrow once i get his products in.

".....I know there's a fresh batch a brewin' ...."

I knew it , I just knew it. PB products are made by witchs & warlocks. Had to wait for a fresh
shipment of powered rhino horn, a little eye of newt, and fermented bat's wing, did ya?

Secret's out ......... fess up!

nooooo it bakes - like a CAKE!!! - even though he refuses to name any products after that wonderful food..

Did you use a PC with the 2.5?
If yes, what pad?
Yup, used the PC with a white polishing pad.

One thing I do have to admit, it's almost impossible to see when 2.5 starts to dust on white. Just had to figure out by trial-and-error that about 5-6 passes is when it starts to dust.

I'm so surprised and impressed at it's cleaning ability. I've been worried that it would cut the extensive oxidation, but it easily removed it.

I'll get some pix up as soon as I get a chance.

White is a PITA! Cool Steve! Great to know its selling like crazy with EX etc. I wonder if HiTemp Medium Leveler will do the job

oh and kycivicboy grab some pics man! Seems like your getting some good products by the boat load! :lmfao

Yep, 2.5 is my favorite polish bar none. Combined with a rotary and a cutting pad, there ain't a hell of a lot the 2.5 won't handle. Beauty of it is, it leaves dang nere a "ready to wax" finish. No need to follow up with a lighter polish (usually) to get a great look. I must admit, I'm guilty of following with SSR 1 on my own vehicles prior to sealant. But for a customer car, they don't look at them quite as hard. I've never had a complaint after a SSR 2.5/EX-P combo. I love this product. Saves me a lot of time and money and produces great results. Good stuff!

SSR2.5 has really been a big hit this year I waited since march for it then finally got it and recently tried it out and was impressed smells great it doesnt sling at all even with a rotary as its pretty thick. Only thing I could maybe change about it is how quick it breaks down. But it still does its job well.

I just bought a medium garnet red 94 Olds 88 to use as my daily driver so I can preserve the truck. It was in pretty good shape but had never been polished out. Lots of minor scratches on the top, truck lid, around door handles, locks, trunk lock......everywhere stuff might have been laid down, or a hand might have been laid, over a ten year period.

I took the PC with a polishing pad and used r2.5, using lots of pressure on some spots, and the shine is incredible. All except the very worst scratches were removed and the shine, as I said, was/is just great! I did the really deep scratches with the rotary, r2.5 and/or r3, a polishing pad or cutting pad (cutting pad was not necessary and not a good idea).

I went over it again with PP but I couldn't see much change from the 2.5. I don't really think any more polishing is necessary after you work r2.5 until it dusts. Then EX'd it and I'm thrilled. Even my wife noticed and her comment may be true...."it probably didn't look any better....maybe not even as good, when it was new!"

Kudo's to Steve. I started with the S&W, loved it and every other Poorboy product I've used has gone to the top of the list in it's catagory. There is just no need to buy anything from anybody else. The only thing I use other than Poorboy is Stoners Invisible Glass......hint, hint. :D
