I've recieved a call from the gentleman that imports vehicles from Japan as well as other countries. He asked me how many cars I could do in a day, and I replied "maybe 2 or 3".
He then goes onto explaining he's opening up a high end exotic import dealer, and would like to higher me for straight cash jobs, with no paper trails. Since this is what I'm doing already anyways, I was hoping it would be a good idea. The idea of steady, dependable work is a pleasing thought.
Anyways, he said that he doesn't want show quality work like I usually do. He wants them to be cleaned up, with almost all the swirls to be removed, but he doesn't want anything like my usual work. He wants me to do the full details for $130 a piece, with a minimum of two per day. This would be a 2-4 times a week sort of thing.
What do you guys think? The idea of guaranteed work is intriguing, but comprimising my quality isn't. Do you think its worth the sacrific?
