Dead mans car

We did a mazda 626 today. The customer who brought it in was the sister in law of the dude who took his life in that particular vehicle. He started the car in the garage and died of carbon monoxide poisoning leaving the garage door closed and the windows in the car down. We did another vehicle about 15 years ago where I guy went to the airport parking lot, shot himself and they did not find the body for 6 days. The worst smell I have ever witnessed. By the way the magets were worse than the smell.

Take it from me, 6-10 days aint nuttin. The longest I have seen was 5 weeks....

I hope that none of you ever have to see/smell that!

The stench of two pints of blood in the front passenger footwell of a Tempo was more than enough for me. Some guy had dropped a glass, tried to catch it, missed and it broke and sliced open his arm. His friend drove him to the hospital while he bled heavily. Cut to about 7-10 days later and that same Tempo has been sitting in the Dallas area summer sun with the windows rolled up when I get a call from a friend asking me if I can clean up some minor blood spots from his friend's car.

Never again. Ever. I almost hurled when I first opened the door.

If that was just blood...hard to imagine a whole body...although...now I am thinking about the smell of the occasional bloated deer carcass I have driven by on the side of the road...ick...

I suppose none of you saw the Mythbusters episode where they took the dead pigs and left them in the Corvette for two months...

I remeber that episode and the one where they buried pigs in concrete for two months.

I can only imagine the smell of a decaying body.

How many hobo power is that?
