So I know of roadkill by McKey 37 and Bug Squash by poorboys. Which one is better is there a different one? I`ve only used roadkill so far and pretty much like it but am willing to try another, whats your recommendation
 
I`ve been using Kenotek Anti Insect. I can not say if it`s better than McKees or Poorboys Bug Squash, but I can tell you that it works, so I`ve really no reason to look for another product.
 
Bug Squash works really great. Never been disappointed in it and mostly I am stunned when I rinse it off. I rarely ever have a "well maintained" car in my garage for a detail. The BEST part of it that I dont think the others offer is that it is DILUTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3:1 which makes 3 32 ounce bottles from one for $16 or $.16 per ounce. RK @ 1:1 (which states is for well maintained vehicles) costs $.40 per ounce. Kenotek at 33.8 oz is $.47 an ounce.
 
3D has one, cheap gal. too. I`m working with CGs bug soap as a pre spotter at 10:1 liking it so far, it`s basically a shampoo diluted that eats bugs & tar.

I use Bug Squash as opposed to an APC only because it`s not supposed to remove your LSP. And as dcjredline pointed out, you can dilute it. The recommended ratio is 3:1 which seems to work fine in combination with a bug sponge.

LOL - ok, so which one is it? There`s at least one active thread talking about how no APC or wash can remove an LSP and that an LSP can only be removed by polishing, and then there`s this sentiment than a bug remover may possibly remove an LSP and that an APC can definitely remove it... Got my tinfoil hat on.

To answer the question, I have used Bug Squash in the past. Currently, with Collinite re-aplied every so often to the front/leading edges, I simply take some extra time to soak the leading surfaces where bugs may accumulate and remove with regular wash solution.
 
I think APCs and bug remover affect new LSPs the same way Dawn does, by leaving a film that may inhibit beading. Now on deteriorated LSPs I don`t know.

This is exactly how I use it. Never had an issue with it removing my LSP.
 
I use the 1Z Anti-Inzekt (or however they spell it). Doesn`t compromise the LSP unless I let it dwell for a long time (longer than necessary, at least on my LSPs).

I`ve used it as well, but Autopia doesn`t sell it. Liked it too.
In reference to the dwell time & APC use. That`s exactly why I use CG`s bug shampoo.
8.99$ a 16oz. at 10:1 I`m buyin`. :dance1
