Detail City is my favorite internet forum. This place is absolutely teeming with talented and helpful individuals, many of whom I've come to regard as extended family members. As with most families, we all occupy some type of role:
I think of Dwayne as this family's Dad. Not because of his age or maturity level
, but because he is the head of the family. He's the one who puts the roof over our heads and food on the table. He's also the one responsible for keeping the rest of us in line when we become unruly.
CharlesW could be the grandfather. He has wisdom that only comes from a lifetime of experiences. He doesn't dwell on the past, but he's seen enough trends come and go to be able to separate items of substance from items of fluff. Sometimes it's the simple things that work the best.
I think of Boss_429 as the older brother. He has more of the "been there, done that" experiences than his younger siblings. He tries to share what he knows with his brothers and sisters, and he will defend them against the neighborhood bullies. :bigups
Poorboy is the cool uncle. :cool He's the one you can count on to have the best gadgets, and you always want to go to his house to play. He'll never try to tell you how to live your life, but he'll always be available to help when you need a hand.
The Fuzz is the eccentric cousin. He's a little bit "out there", but that's all part of his charm (and, boy does he have a lot of charm :naughty). You can count on him to come up with something wacky, but fun and harmless.
Rabbi is the middle child. He and the Whaler don't get a lot of respect or attention, but he's often looked upon to be the peacemaker when the sibling rivalries heat up. :rockin
Zesty-Man is the youngest child. He tries real hard to keep pace with his older brothers and sisters. Everyone looks out for him, and he reminds us all of how rewarding life can be when viewed with fresh eyes. :mohawk
