Days Off?

This being my third year in business has been nuts I can't seem to get any free time. I took two days off in June to go to a car show in Salt Lake City and see Jngrbrdman take the clean/stock award. I don't like bichting about having to much work but with the heat and not getting any younger, some rest would be nice. When winter gets here I'll be bitching about not having any work and being bore. I guess I better get back to work

I just came back from 5 days down in Sarasota (Stopped to see Dwayne!).



I needed it. Plus it was the only convenient time for my wife to get away. Pissed away $2000.



PLUS the cost of the vacation!



I enjoyed every expensive minute! Wonder what I'll do in February?

Get used to it. Success can be your worst enemy in some ways. I have been working 6 days a week for almost 11 years now and only now am I forcing myself to cut back because I am just burned out. Make your money over the summer and try and relax a little over the winter. I actually close for every long weekend (including this one - gotta love Canada and the BS holidays) and right now that's all I get for vacation time. I am going to try next year to take at least 2 weeks off and only work 5 days a week.
 
I think maybe next year if I can get a fix location and get out of the heat I might not feel so burn out. Well I off to detail a truck this moring, no church for me today:dance.
 
No rest for the wicked! I am glad to hear that your business is doing well. I remember a time when you were getting discouraged and am glad everything is working out for you.
 
Days off? What is that? ;)



After all the rain we had in May and June, I welcome these long stretches of constant work. We get enough rain around here during the winter and spring I get more time off than I want most years.



I do take off some time in the summer, I just let my customers know I will be out of town.
 
I am very stict about my tim eoff. My cel /biz phone is only on during 9am-4pm Mon-Friday. I never work weekends.



Last year I worked only 208 days, took plenty of time off to be withour new baby girl and also took two weeks off to go to Florida.



Heck I am the bosss!
