Dawn Before AIO

Guys, do I need to wash the car with Dawn before I apply AIO. Can't I just apply the AIO without the Dawn and let that strip all the junk up off the paint? Let me know.
 
............and will be more effective in cleaning the paint and stripping old wax than DAWN. You can skip the dawn wash.
 
It wouldn't hurt to use Dawn. Its not really needed because, like DK said, AIO is a pretty darn fine cleaner. I like to mix some dawn in with the wash any time I am starting a new system on a vehicle. As long as you don't dawn wash 10 times a year then you'll never hurt your car with 2 or 3 times a year for the Dawn wash.
