Dash Kits

A buddy of mine is looking to order a carbon fiber dash kit from an online retailer (NYC dashes or AAA exotic wood) for his TT. I was just wondering if anyone has ever ordered one or dealt with this. They adhere on top the the existing dash but I am somewhat skeptical about the appearance/quality/durability. If anyone currently has one or did have one how did the kit look and which site did you purchase from?

Several years back I installed a wood dash kit that fit great, looked great, lasted great. They even made some custom pieces for my door panels.
It wasn't cheap and I think the cheap ones probably look cheap.
It seems like the name was Dash-Pro, but it wasn't the Dash Pro that comes up in a google search. They probably have long since gone out of business.
There are still several companies doing it, but be prepared to pay for quality. (Like anything else)
