dark spots after wash

after giving my car a wash ive been noticing that ive been getting these dark spots on my car... most are like small dots here and there on the hood and bigger spots along the lower door and area near the wheel wells. not sure what they are, it seems like moisture is getting trapped in the paint somehow but i am able to buff them out with a mf towel and some slight pressure. ive tried some qd but still need the same amount of pressure with a dry mf to remove. im also able to run the pc over the areas with some polish and they come out easier but they will return after i wash again.



i guess im kinda concerned hoping its nothing bad... any ideas? i have an 03 accord so the car is pretty new, and the paint still looks great.

Is it on the painted plastic cladding? If so, it could be dressing fling from your tires.



Any white emulsion dressing has ingredients that are not compatible with the paint used on plastic car components. So, when someone dresses their tires then drives away, the dressing and some parts of the tire are flung onto the painted plastic cladding.



The dark dot then eats into the paint and leaves a dark dot that cannot be removed.



I've seen several dealerships ruin the cladding because of this problem and they have had to re-paint the cladding before selling the vehicle.
