Was browsing Danase website...and came across some of this towel offerings.

My current faves re all Pak -

Ultrasoft WW for drying, ww for glass, & Micropak Ultafine silk edges for buffing.

Almost always, I grab the DP Monster Fluffys for QD.

I'm looking to add some more towels to the stash.

What do you guys think of the Danase Phat towels ? Comparisons from prior towels ?

Water Devouer seems like something I would like to try if the nap hairs don't get all nappy on me on wet paint....even after numerous washings, I do get some micro lint from my monster fluffys but I think that's just the inherent nature of them...due to their pile

I have 2 water devourers and some of the regular phat towels and I love them. Very absorbent and super soft. They don't cause any marring, even on the softest of clearcoats.

I have notice that with my other plush, long nap towels (blue drying towels from Auto Zone) they tend to push the water around as opposed to absorbing it. Have you had anything like this with the water devourer? I realize the Danase towels are much high quality than the AZ version.

I have the Danase Phat towels and absolutely love them. Agree with the finding that they aren't great water absorbers for drying, but for polishing/finishing, they are the nicest towels ever. They last forever because they can soak up all of the excess dried wax/polish/etc. Couldn't give them a higher recommendation.

I bought some Phat towels and a waffle weave drying towel. I love both of them. They are my new favorite towels. I highly recommend them.

are they really as soft as they look in the pic?

They are the softest towels I own. They have a long nap and are the same on both sides.

Danase also carries a giant devourer which is HUGE.
