im just joining the elite detail group and i hope i make it ....my problems are many since i dont know shit, spotted chrome, scratches and marks that my compound wont git out chips, nicks dents, stains... dang this is ruff ohhhh and let me not forget the dreaded ""i dont have alot of time can u hurry i have an appointment "" starting this is gonna be hard but fun i dont use machines all by hand and i use a 3m compound that wont touch the clear coat i guess i do have one question fer now .....
can i sell waxing biweekly and if i do how many coats b4 i strip or do i need to strip the wax off is there such a thing as too many coats ?

I maybe wrong, but I believe the clear coat is on top of the paint,
so as soon as you place your hand and compound on that vehicle,you is touching clear coat.

When removing scratches and swirls, I believe you are just evening out the clearcoat....once you break the clearcoat you should start to get paint on your pads...
