it's not quite as good as it appears in the after photo - need more light to get a better image - however, both shots were taken in the same light.

area I wetsanded is circled. There are a couple of little spots there in this angle - kinda hard to see them in the clouds but it's the best shot I'm likely to get today. At least I didn't need to newspaper to make the camera focus! repair is not perfect but SO MUCH better!

damn i love the lines on those cars, there was a m roadster with the full dinan package and fikse wheels at the dealer i got my car from :drool: it was even drawing my attention away from the m5

I have a few "before" shots on my other camera but not with me. The car was not in the condition I expected (ebay) so I've been cleaning and polishing. Maybe I'll get some befores and afters up soon. My "afters" do not yet measure up the standards these guys post here but I'm learning! I just thrilled that the etched spot is something I have to look for now instead of something I use to ID my car across the parking lot, like one of those antenna balls! I have never been so thrilled with the results of an auto appearance change I did to a car before as I am with that spot removal. I wish the photos showed the differences better ...
