Danase Wet Glaze filling abilities?

Well its raining cats and dogs over here and I cant WAIT to try out the Danase wet glaze I purchased. I already used it on my paintball gun and it even smells great! I was wondering do all glazes such as the Danase have filling abilities? The main reason I purchased this was for my daily driver so that I can have that freshly polished look and fill in those minor swirls till the next polishing session. Also I was on the chemical guys website and there glaze looks very identical to the Danase with a similar smell. This isnt one of those relabled CG products is it?

I have not found any filling with DWG, maybe others can chime in. Then again, I dont have much to fill, so its hard to tell.

For your last Q, PM Danase, call him, thats your best bet.

Danase is mostly to add wetness and depth to the paint. I don't believe it does much in terms of filling. I love this stuff, it leaves an amazing wetness and depth. Follow it up with Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax, and it will blow you away.

I tried it on a swirled black car, it filled a little. It fills a little and leaves a nice deep, wet finish. It's my favorite glaze so far.

Which CG glaze are you referring to?

According to a PM that I got from Bob (Danase) a little while back, Wet Glaze does have some filling abilities. Nothing like Megs #9 though.

Hello

Bob and i had a PM or two about all this, he is a great guy and if i wasnt in the UK so much i would purchase more from him.

It IS NOT relable of a CG product, its close to CG EZ GLAZE but with out any light cleaners.

The best part about DWG is that you can use it with POLYMER/ARYLIC SEALANTS such as

KSG

JET SEAL

WERKSTATT

ZAINO

Gloss enhancing capabilities are great. Recommended product for all sealant users!

Filling is small, not as a great as say Vanilla Moose or even Yellow Moose.

I didn't realize EX Creme Glaze had cleaners in it. Glad I use Wet Glaze instead because I will sometimes use two coats of it for even better depth.

Oh, I second the comment about Bob!

So the million dollar question is do you put DWG on top of your LSP or underneath it?

Underneath. If you put it on top, it will wear off after a few washes, like most glazes, not too durable.

when I show my car I generally just use the glaze as my lsp but when not showing I use it under my LSP'S JS then 50/50

as a side note I haven't had any issues using CG's glaze under JS

Bob PM'd me saying you can layer DWG as well. You can apply either carnauba or acrylic sealant over DWG giving it good versatility. I should be receiving mine tomorrow to try and review for the masses here.

Hi!

Oh please, not the whole where do u we put glazes thing! Unless your an old skool show car dude then it goes under your LSP.

Cleaners in CG EZ G are very very low. Not enough to remove the product underneath but it has a cleaning action.
