Danase Speed Glaze is good stuff

Last weekend I did a Danase Speed Glaze -> UPP -> NB combo. This was the first time

I used a glaze and I must say the difference was more than I expected. My car was already

looking amazing but the glaze added a lot of shine, wetness, depth and reflection and the reflections were sharper than without the glaze. I picked the danase glaze because it's acrylic based so hopefully I won't have to reapply as often. It was easy to use and smelled like grapes. My cat liked it too as she is a grape fiend. Also, danase's service was great and they answered all of my email questions.

In a couple of weeks I'm going to try UPP -> DSG -> NB. I'm thinking that since danase's glaze is acrylic based then maybe it will bond to UPP. Anyone have experience with this?

This is a tough job but somebody has to do it so ...

I agree. Danase Speed Glaze is great. I used it under 50/50 and got excellent results. Haven't used it with a sealant yet though. I think RMG and DSG are my two favorite glazes. :)

I don't think using a glaze under a sealant will work. The sealant will just clean/dissolve the glaze.

Danase Speed Glaze is acrylic-based, so there shouldn't be any issues topping it with a sealant (or carnauba), which is one of the reasons I like it.

I dont believe that is true at all. Going back a few years vendors starting selling the "Hawaiian Punch" which was VM with either EX or EX-P. Now people use RMG and other glazes under Sealants all the time.

I have used this glaze under Duragloss....UPP...EX...Ex-P...Wolfgang...Klasse Sg...and not one problem...just pure gloss and depth and wettness...

This by far is the best all purpose glaze going..works with both wax and sealants...

I found you can use the glaze after a sealant has been down and reapply the sealant over it ....it has no cleaners or abrasives...

This product is a hidden treasure....melts right into the paint and wipes off so easy...

Wonder what it would be like polycharged..

It does add a nicer look to SG...gives it the depth it sometimes lacks on certain colors...

Sorry about the no pics guys. My digicam broke last week and I didn't get a new one yet.

I plan on buying one on saturday and I'll take pics then.

So, AL-53 you've used this over a sealant with absolutely no problems? Man, that would be cool.

Since this glaze was the first I've used I can't compare it to others like rmg or xmt, however,

it made quite a noticeable difference. I gave it the 'wife test' and she said that it looks better than before and she knows my car well because I make her look at it every time I wash or wax or do anything to it.

I've tried lots of sealants and waxes and had settled into UPP, NB and AW thinking that was the best I could get my car but I think I'm going to have to add danase's speed glaze to my routine now. The other types of glazes are not for me yet because I don't have a pc and most of them have cleaners etc...

So, one could, in theory, apply this over 2 coats of DG 105, and then reapply 105? this is interesting, and I would be interested if this is the case!

Yup...as long as you do 105 by hand it will work ....and looks good also...

Agreed 100%. This is my favorite all-around product to use. Plus, the DSG --> UPP combo is aboslutely perfect on silver.
