Damn I dropped a pad on the floor...

Crap...what should I do? I dropped one of my polishing pads on the floor. i picked it up immediately but i think it flopped face down at one point. I didn't use it after that but afterwerds i soaked it with some pad cleaner that i bought and then i started to carress it and agitate it with my hand until i got it cleaned and took out the old gunk in there. I put it away but have yet to use it. Can I still use the pad or should I just rid of it for fear of a small pebble or something getting in there? It looks and feels clean though if anyone needed to know.
 
Should be alright to use, if your still worried just toss it in the washer with a load of clothes. I wash my pads all the time :)
