I have just got a new customer. They are actually family friends that have switched over to me about 4 months ago. They used to have another mobile detailing company do their vehicles but I think they went out of bus. I actually had them detail my old truck about 3 years ago. Anyways I finally detailed their 99 Black Range Rover yesterday. They had the other detailers detail their cars probably about every 6-7 months and had them wash it regularly. I knew that they guys did a bad job but I didn’t think it was this bad. I think they would just go at the vehicle with rubbing compound and a wool pad and that’s it, no polish or sealant. I feel real bad for my customer’s cause they probably didn’t even really know, they just thought they were doing the right thing by having it professionally washed and detailed regularly which wasn’t the case. I was able to get the paint to shine really nicely but I was only about to get about 85%-90% of the swirls out. First I used 3M rubbing compound, then 2 coats of Race Glaze, then Klasse AIO then Klasse Sealant. The after pictures don’t show the swirls because the sun was already down.

Here is how it looked before I started-

Ouch. That second before pic with the swirls really hurts! I have a Black Lincoln coming up in the next couple weeks that is like that. The decklid and rear quarters on this black Lincoln are so badly swirled from car washes the swirls are visible from 20 feet away.

The after pics looks great! Klasse really does shine.

what you use to fix the swirls and seal the paint a was sealant or both

sweet job that baby is gleaming

It was Race Glaze Polish/Sealant, but I had to use 3M Rubbing compound first.

Good Work like this and a satisified customer will do more for your business than than a spending spree with advertising
