So, this was a daily driver that will now hopefully find a spot in the garage :LOLOL
Before I showed up, the car was horrible! Swirls all over the place, and deep too! Porsche paint is too soft haha. I honestly thought that it was washed daily with a brillo pad and dawn. This is a highway car - and it showed. The front bumper and hood have to be resprayed from rock chips, but I think I made them look ok, at least for the time being
It was a long process, especially considering how soft the paint is.
Wash with DP and ONR
Wheels cleaned with DP cleanse all and EZ brush
Wheels sealed with Black Ice sealant
Car clayed with Mothers clay (surprisingly it wasn't that bad!)
1st pass was SIP on Yellow CCS via PC
After that, it was very late. The owner did not have place to put it, so it sat outside of the garage for 2 days until I could return to finish.
When I returned,
Wash with ONR/DP
2nd pass of SIP on Yellow CCS via PC
3rd pass of 106ff on White CCS via PC
Black Ice Cleaner Wax on Grey CCS via PC
Black Ice Sealant on Grey CCS via PC
Black Ice Carnuba Wax on Grey CCS via PC
That was all for the 2nd day.
I still need to return and finish the top, trim and interior. Sadly the car is still sitting outside, but at least its protected now! :thx
I'll try to get some sun shots tomorrow! :spot
Before - this was the whole car:
After Compounding - still some holograms left over, but SIP finishes down amazingly, especially considering it was a yellow pad:
After - even if there is no light, it was amazing!:drool: :spot:
rock chips own me
dont mind the litte streak, it was cold and there was moisture building up on the lid, so i quickly wiped *most* of it off before the pic
thanks for looking, more pics tomorrow when i finish! :spot
