Hello everyone,
Today again i gave DACP a try on a 1996 Buick Century, The car is white and i don't think it has been washed in quite some time. This was an auction car so i couldn't tell you. First i washed it, then it needed claying extremely bad, then came the DACP to get rid of some swirls and scratches. I used a Megs polishing pad on the PC, started it at 3 and then right to 6, it did take out some scratches, but not all.
I hit each area 3 times. Then it came time to wipe the DACP off, man i have to tell you, i had to work hard at getting it all off with the MF, i broke out the FI to clean it up and get the rest off. Did i work the DACP too long?
This is nothing but a good cleaner polish after the rotary use. I have wet sanded before, then buffed with the Dewalt, then go over everything with the DACP and the PC to get rid of the swirl marks, for this application it worked great. Not so great on the Century cleanup. Please, tell me what I'm doing wrong with the DACP. I'm becoming a non DACP lover quick.
Thanks,
Sellncars
