DACP, CMA yellow or white polishing pad

For those who read my prior post. Im planning on using DACP on a 97 Black Jetta which hasnt seen any detailing products in the past 1 1/2 to 2 years. Some swirls and spiderwebbing from letting the car get fithy then washing. It is a daily driver 120 a day.

My question is, do you think using DACP and CMA's yellow cutting pad will be to harsh on this finish or do you think I should use the white polishing pad. Ive used DACP before with Meguiars Yellow Polishing pad which I assume is similar to CMA's white pad. Ive had great success with this product and pad combo but the Jetta's finish is in dire need of help. I was planning on following up with SMR with the CMA white pad.

What kinds of experiences have people had with DACP and CMA's yellow cutting pad?

it depends on what you're trying to do... I have used my rotary with the W9000 finishing pad (no cutting power) with DACP when i'm doing light polishing (not swirl removal) and it comes out great, but when you have to tackle swirls and stuff, the yellow pad would be more suitable.
