Here are the results of all 8 hours I spent this last Wednesday on my car. This is my first attempt at an "autopian" detailing. I've owned the car for almost 7 years and it was garaged only the first 2 of those. Ill try to find some before pics. (It was an overcast day so i couldnt get any direct sunlight pics...Ill post those sometime next week)

Love the car, Love the color, Love the detail.

5 Lug conversion?

Did you do all of this by hand? Did you do a pass with a finer polish after the DACP? Are you planning on doing multiple layers of SG?

Overall, look real good. Definately get those sunny shots :D

Here's a before from a year or so ago.....In this picture I had just done the entire zaino process...but my prep work was non-existant, so it really shows how oxidized the paint was. It almost looks orange. (I really wish I would have taken the time to get some before pics, but the second I got back home for the holiday I had to get to work.)

I got an awesome deal on the real ford C58 rims (Lets just say I got 4 for the price of 2 1/3),. Because of this I had to convert to to 5-lug using mark5 front rotors and the Ford motorsport rear kit drum and axle kit.

I used a PC for the DACP and AIO. Tried the DACP with a white pad first, but it didnt seem powerful enough. I then went to a yellow pad with DACP and made sure I worked it enough to not have to use a finer polish. I did end up trying Megs #9 on half the hood but it didnt make a noticeable difference. I went from DACP with the yellow pad directly to AIO and a white pad. Then I put the SG on by hand using the wipe on wipe off method.

I plan to put another layer of SG on next weeked after I wash.

Thanks

Amazing! Makes me want to change my whole detailing process since I have recently inherited a neglected red 2000 Eclipse GT.

You really outdid yourself there. Great job.

IMO those are the best looking Mustang's Ford ever produced.

I love fox bodys..but compared to the 99-2004, which were slapped together from a parts bin they dont hold a thing to them.

99+ are best lookin stangs around..other then the originals.

Just when I thought it was over, I'm starting to miss my Fox Body again:mad:

J/K, very nice job on the red paint:xyxthumbs

The LX tail lights are a very clean look. Do you have a Cobra rear bumper or the LX? I can't really tell from your pics.
