DA with a Corvette C5

I'm going to be detailing my Dad's yellow C5 this weekend. I'm a regular user of the PC, but I've not done a C5 before.

I'm going to clay the car and then do a fine polish and wax.

Any gotchas with the PC on a non-metal car?

Thanks very much for the response. Just want to make sure before I go.

The car does have a clear-bra on the nose, I'm planning on just doing that area by hand.

The clear is as hard as glass, get ready to use some heavy polishes with the PC unless the marring is VERY light. When I do a C5 I go straight to the rotary.

Get something to sit on that has wheels so that you can move around. The cars sit low and it sucks to squat down for all the time you will be polishing that hard clear. Trust me, your back will thank you. What color is the vette?

You might want to drop Lynn Phillips a note and ask her if she ran into any problems. She did 12 hours of work on a new black Vette by PC:
