D151 dusting with new pad

Hey everyone.

I'm looking for advice to help solve my issue when using D151. After working a section or two I start to get dusting that covers everything. I've tried new pads but still have the issue. Is there a trick to keep the dusting manageable?

As of right now, I use Klasse for general production detailing and D151 for vehicles the need a little more correction. I'd like to be able to use D151 for everything, but the dusting issue I have prevents me from doing that.

I like D151 for many reasons, help me fall in love with it!

I'm using a flex 3401 with LC orange and hydrotech tangerine pads at a speed of 4-5.

Here's a pic from my last job with D151. Car had swirls since it was bought new. They even took the car to the dealer 3 times to have them correct it! I can't imagine getting better results from an AIO!

Thanks guys!

I've tried using more and less product. I use 3-4 dime size drops on pad. Pad is thoroughly primed before use with product. I do not use pad conditioning spray or water though.

The working time with the product seems great. I feel like I can work an oversized area for a full 6 passes without the product flashing.

I should have clarified, the product isn't drying on the paint prematurely, but dusting when applying and buffing off.

Thanks!

Pretty much the reason I switched to HD Speed for my AIO. Haven't touched my D151 since switching. Still a great product but like the HD a bit better.
